Texts by Al- Hallaj (around 858 AD, 244 H , in Fars, Persia/ March 26th 922 AD, 309 H, in Baghdad, Iraq). Poem originally written in Arabic. The name of the piece is taken from another Sufi poet and mystic. Jalaluddin Rumi (30 September 1207 / 17 December 1273, Persia). The poem is called "He who needs mercy finds it"

This praise belongs to Allah Who manifests Himself on the head of a pin to whom He wishes, so that one testifies that He is not, and another testifies that there is none other than He. But the witnessing in the denying of Him is not rejected, and the witnessing in the affirming of Him is not praised. Peace
Al- Hallaj

Seek you the water of Mercy? Be downcast, And straight away drink the wine of mercy to intoxication. Mercy is called down by mercy to the last. Withhold not, then, mercy from anyone.
